EGM and 1UP Staff laid off - Will they bounce back?

| Most of the former 1UP/EGM magazine staff was laid off in the UGO acquisition of Ziff Davis media at the beginning of the month. Best known for the 1UP show and long series of podcasts, the 1UP staff was well known and loved by the online gaming community. Many of them have gone on to personal projects, like the Co-op show and Rebel FM podcast. They also have the opportunity as well-known gaming journalists to land a lot of freelance work for other sites. The question is, will their personal projects know success in 2009? |
