| Having been influenced by the beautiful wooden bedframes while visiting the store Material Culture, a warehouse full of imported and hand made furniture, I decided to build a bedframe out of reclaimed wood for my fiancee and I. I found some gorgeous oak nuel posts, hand rails and spindles from an old bookmaker building in center city Philadelhia. For the past month I have been brainstorming and making measurements and the first cuts have been made into the wood. My hope is to have it completed and in-use by the end of February, care to place a bet? |
