| We are one day from a very historic moment in our country, and as we gear up for the big day, it would appear that the problems facing our nation and world just keep getting worse. Every battle across the globe seems to be heating up -- Russia and the Ukraine, Pakistan and India, North Korea and South Korea, Israel and Palestine and Lebanon, and everyone else. That's on top of all of the domestic problems -- the financial meltdown, spilled coal ash, the FAA disaster, etc.. Soon to be President Obama has more than the average set of problems facing him -- in fact it has to be the worst for any incoming president ever, well without doing all of the research.
Despite his intense popularity and the historic nature of his candidacy, I am wondering how all-forgiving people are going to be. I mean, let's face it, some of his initiatives are going to have to stand by the wayside. I am afraid there is too much hope riding on his shoulders, which could result in one huge crash.
So my bet, do you think that President Obama's approval ratings will stay above the 50% marker after his first six months in office? |
