| From 1990 to 2000 FOX had a hit prime time television drama series, Beverly Hills 90210. It was to be a show that followed the lives of a group of teenagers living in Beverly Hills, CA. The show addresses issues such as date rape, alcoholism, domestic violence, gay rights, drug abuse, teenage suicide, AIDS, and teenage pregnancy.
This year the CW Television Networks has released a new series, titled 90210 that is a contemporary spinoff of Beverly Hills 90210 with all new characters and new story lines. Some characters from the original series will be reprising their roles, but not all. It seems as though people are losing the ability to be creative and original.
