| My friend and I have been planning a trip to Japan for years, but things never seemed to fall into place. A year ago we decided that we were going no matter what. We chose dates we felt were far ahead enough for us to save up for. Our goal dates for our trip to Japan are December 2009 - January 2010. We decided it best to go over Christmas vacation so we'd both miss as little work as possible.
We've already signed up for a home to stay at in Tokyo for around this time, but with the new year almost upon us, we are finding that we aren't saving the amount of money we need to get there.
It'll cost about $800.00 per person to stay in this lady's house and I'm estimating a good $2,500.00 for the round trip to Japan. We had hoped to each save $5,000.00 for the entire trip, which includes the airfare, home stay costs, food and in Japan travel costs, and luxury costs.
Will we meet our goal and be able to visit Japan in December 2009?
